I saw some mention of a Leaf plow in a previous post and was curious if anyone had input or info on them. Can these be ordered from somewhere or are they a homemade contraption.
Thanks

Can't tell you much, but here's a link to a store bought unit. I'm sure they have folks on here that have made their own.

they can be ordered but we had an old mower we took the deck off and fabbed one up to fit and it is controlled by the deck height

Jrco makes pretty good products. The plows are great if you will be tarping or "vac"ing the leaves. Those plows enable you to push a ton of leaves.

we just use the walker or other hydro mower to push leaves, bunch a small pile together and push it against more leaves and they will build up and you can move pretty good size piles but that plow looks like it would work better

I have a Jrco... moves mountains of dry leaves. If the leaves are wet forget it... I bent the bracket that attaches to the mower several times trying to push damp leaves last year. I also feel that they need to re-design that bracket to fit on the mower better. No matter how tight I made the bolts It was still constantly moving on my caster arms of my mower.... Great product but needs a little refining.
