Anybody have any information on *trucewhiteflag*

Thinking about purchasing a Toro Dingo but wanted some opinions on it also should I go with the gas or diesel engine? And lastly what do you recommend wide or narrow tracks, should I be concerned about fitting in a 36" fence?

Cool to see someone close by! If your going to be doing a lot of digging post hole or for plants, or grading; get the diesel. The gas engines will do ok but you'll have to baby the controls or they will kepp stalling out.

The 425 and 525 have wider tracks than the 420 - very important if you are using the unit on turf , imo. I have a 425 and love it , but if it breaks a diesel will take its place.

I bought one of the 13hp Prodigy Powerhouse units from a dealer in January 2008.
The tractor unit had around 350 hrs and came with a bucket, auger and a couple of bits, the trencher and trailer - all for $5K.
If you go this route plan on Pm'ing me first as there are several points to consider with the KK113 units you should know about first.

We have the same model as YardPro and we absolutely love it.

We have the auger with 5 different sizes, the land leveler, pallet forks, hydraulic tree forks and bucket, we took the teeth off it. One of my favorite machines. It spends a lot of time in my yard when it is not out on a job.

In my opinion this is the BEST piece of equipment ever produced by Toro. Lots of power, fast learning curve on operation, and I'm fairly certain it will fit through a a 36" gate. I don't own one, but I have operated one several times. Excellent machine!

the 525's seem to be hard to find used

I have to rent it when I need it, but I love it. I always get the 525. I use it on bigger mulch/stone jobs so that we don't have to shovel into wheelborrows, its like having 3 guys shoveling, and it doesn't complain about being hot or being tired. I can spread 14 tons of stone in about 4 hours with a good helper.

I have used a boxer to due mulch and it seems to be more time consuming to me than with 3 guys spreading

It depends on the amount of mulch for me. I get it for jobs requiring over 8 yards of mulch, especially if I have multiple mulch jobs to do that day. Its not the spreading that it helps me with, I have one person spread, while I keep bringing loads from the trailer with the 10 cu. ft. light material bucket. It saves all that shoveling and pushing wheelborrows. When I had 3 guys onsite, usually three are shoveling/ transporting to the beds while I was spreading.
