Most fungus can stay active in the soil for many years.
We use Eagle or Lesco Manicure both liquid for spot and blanket apps.
Eagle is a better curative. Manicure, preventitive.

Armada is awesome. You can use Manicure on residential?
liquid is almost always better, but I agree, I don't like fungicide apps.
Eagle is weak on patch diseases, better on ornamentals.

We use Manicure as a preventitve at a pharmaceutical company we maintain.
As far as residentials we dont have much of a call for it.
Noone wants to pay for preventitive apps until it's too late.

If it is really yellow and if it occurs in late summer or fall--it could be rust fungus. Some ryegrasses are very susceptible to the fungus. See:

Extra fertilizer is the best cure for rust. It also disappears about the time of frost.

I'll second the vote for Armada! :clapping: That stuff is awesome! I spray it @ 1.25 gal/k out of my z-spray & get awesome results!
