When is a good time to start advertising

When is a good time to start advertising for this season. I am talking about newspaper ads, website, flyers etc.... I have already started letting people know. But havent really pinpointed when to start a advertising campain. It seems a little early to start spending money on advertising. Should I call my customers from last year and try to book them this far in advance? Also when you order lights from a online dealer how long is it until you recive them?

Mid september is a good time to start. I would drip mail. So every couple weeks re-send the flyer. It keeps you infront og the folks more.

As far as ordering lights, that really depends on the supplier and time of year. Some ship same day, some might take a couple days because they are busy.
