hahahaha i hate to say this but the company that im currently employeed at has a ditchwitch xt850 and i have used it countless times and every time i use it i get off and do it by hand in my opinion this is the worst machine ditchwitch came out with and dingos i have used which are very little but still i have i didnt enjoy at all and would prolly do it by hand however that for diging and raking but i will not carry rocks pallets trees and anything else more then my body wieght or in a multiple of two by hand i will use a machine so i can see where you are coming from and my advice is to hang in there

And where do you come off thinking your tush is sexy or little?
But I have rented the dingo and couldn't be happier with it. I used the wheeled version. Great for mulch and many other simple tasks, but it makes your body last a lot longer.

I know what you mean, we got the backhoe attachment for our, the only problem with the 850 that I could imagine is manuavability. that's a lot of weight and I'd imagine it would surely slow the machine down. the big brother xtXXX whatever is awesome looking, if i was a utility contractor I'd have one in a heart beat.

also... duramax is that vermeer the diesel one or the gas? I demoed the gas one but the dealer couldn't/wouldnt get me a diesel. if so how do you like it?

I love boxer's walk behind.. I hate bobcats freakn walk behind!! and I have never ran vermeer's or ditch witch in fact I have never seen one, but anyways.. whats goin on with the arms on that vermeer? the bucket seems to big so the loader isnt going all the way down. am i correct?

I just went to ditch witch's website.. and holy crap you dont want a walk behind he wants a freakn backhoe! haha I would love to have one of those! I really like how the boom on the backhoe slides back and forth. the only problem I see is not being able to see the edge of the bucket so it might be hard to grade with But I really like those things.. I got one question picasso.. why do you need one of those? the backhoe isnt big enough to load a fullsize dump.

I dont like the bobcat walkbehind because it is slow, the standing pad thing is horribly designed, I dont like the controls, and it is just hard to grade with... and yeah you can get a boxer with a diesel in it.. I have never ran a diesel boxer but I like them alot..

The 850 is realy nice, but its a good bit larger then the mini skids. I would do as Toms Creek has and get the sk650 with a backhoe attachment.

so i can dig small holes and not have to use a shovle to do it, and still have a bucket or rake on the front.

if you are digging small holes why not use an auger? We have 8, 9, 18, & 30" bits for our mini-skid.

oh come on what a dumb reply, how the f do you dig up and expose a underground 12'' pump line with a auger? i know what a auger is for and if i needed to dig a perfect strait circular hole i would use a auger but im not digging shat like that.

Just buy an excavator and you can sit while digging, who wants to stand all day on that thing. Sorry to bust your bubbles.
