1992 chevrolet kodiak ignition stuck

I have a 92 kodiak and the ignition is stuck to the "on" position where you start the truck in the steering column. I've tried by force to unlodge it back to the off position and sprayed some wd in it to see if it would help. Does anyone know if I can easily buy a new ignition or is there a way to turn it off? I popped the clutch and took the bettery cable off.

Where would I be able to buy a new one or does anyone know if there is a way to free the ignition by taking it apart.

All help would be appreciated.

sounds like the tumblers are misaligned...push the key in and out rapidly and then put the key in and hit it with the palm of your hand...repeat
