Planning to blanket spray a good portion of my lawn this fall for dandelions and clover. Using Triplet selective. Will be using a 2 gal hand sprayer to do this (my lawn is small so the hand sprayer seems practical).

My question is this: what is a good mix rate for this herbicide?
Label says 1.1-1.5 oz in 1-2 gals water for 1K sq ft.
I need a fairly 'conservative' rate for a relative novice doing the application (myself), yet I want a good kill (I have messed around long enough with Weed b gone max!) What would you experienced applicators recommend? 1.5 oz per 2 gals over 1K sq ft?

Am putting this in the homeowner section as I only do mow/blow/dry fert and am spraying only my own lawn. Thanks for the help:)

As long as you're within the range listed on the label, you should be OK. If the weeds are well established you should stay toward the higher rate. If your lawn is somewhat stressed (we've had very little rain here for about 3 weeks) you want to stay on the lower side. Make sure you are applying the amount of chemical in the amount of water per area that the label states. The reason I mention this is that even Weed b Gone kills the weeds you mentioned when applied at the correct rate.

Stick with the 1.5 oz/ gal on 1k rate. I hear some people use a small amount of dish soap with it. Good luck.

Thanks mn, will go with it.

This time of the year, how long after application can I expect to see results when I spray dandelions and clover with a 3way product like Triplet?
I am thinking 1-2 weeks for visible kill results....is this right thinking?

Yes, starts to curl in 3-4 days, big curl by 7 days, dead within 14
