Hi folks
I have been lurking and need some ideas....This is what I want to do....I want to install some floodlights to light up some queen palms. There is about 12 of them, 1st one will be about 25 feet from the trasnsformer and last one about 130.....these will be along a fence. Rather than using a huge 300 w transformer, and a bunch of floodlights such as CL9s (by Malibu), I want to use something like an 88 watt transformer and LEDs installed in the CL9s. What do you folks think? I would plan on running 12 gauge wire in a huge loop to minimize voltage drop. (please correct me if this is wrong). I would like to keep this to about $300 for the project, I plan on purchasing the LED from superleds, need input on this as well.....
