I'm amazed at how many 3-Way style herbicides are just awful. I'd like to hear your feedback.

GOOD:
Lesco's 3Way
Riverdale's Triplet
Trimec 992 (the old formulation)

BAD:
Mecamine-D (world's slowest weed killer, near as I can tell)
Strike-3 (the only one my local vendor is carrying... and it's unbelievably bad)

There are only 4 that I would use. All of them are esters. Amines do not work on the weeds I have here.

Super Trimec
Cool Power
Speedzone
Powerzone.

Other than that, I get better results for less cost rolling my own from Banvel and 2,4-D ester.

I think it is applicator error:waving:

Seriously, I dont like the 3 ways if nothing else b.c them stink....by that I mean they actually smell.

Hokie--try Lesco Eliminate(includes triclopyr) --almost no odor and almost water clear. Also consider Lesco Eliminate Low-Odor (it is like Threeway, but more purified).
Just because it smells strong does not mean it will kill weeds any better. I am happy with amines, if they include triclopyr.
I always include surfactant or detergent.

Been using eliminate for quite a while now b.c of the low odor and very happy with the results

i liked it when they seporated the 'weeds controled' and the 'weeds killed' on the lable. seems now they just conbind them on the lable and say some 'harder to control weeds may require a second application'.

i like the mec-d (unless they have changed it) one of few amine formulations that seemed to do more damage to the ground ivy/violets then the others.

coolpower/lesco 3way ester are very good at killing the toughest of weeds at a resoanable price per K

What is the PH of your water?

Bicarbonates will neturalize acids.......

How do you neuter an acid?

How do you neuter an acid?

Take it to the Vet...LOL.

Bicarbonates are BASES and Raise PH.

This can breakdown ACIDS which have a low PH.

Many 3 way herbicides are ACIDS.

Do some Homework and take the test :)

Good Luck!

Good call! I moved over winter and didn't have the results I wanted... but was chalking it up to switching products. After some self flagellation in the corner, I'll get going on it.
