I'm assuming you can easily remove that blower stand before dumping. Looks good so far.

Its only a 6x10 but a 10k gvw so it will haul about 7k in whatever,it also has skid steer ramps for it. I will use it for leaves, mulch, stone, block, and anything that makes $. Hopefully ill get some side work like hauling sone things for others as well. I didnt want to buy junk even if its main function was for leaves.

true, but you can get a cheaper trailer that aint junk that would suit the purpose of leaf removal better. it was just a question though, was just curious about other plans for it. how hard is it to remove the leaf vacuum?

Man, that looks goooooood! Can't wait to see the finished set-up. If you don't mind me asking, how much does a trailer like that cost and how much will you have in the whole set-up? I've been wanting to build a leaf trailer like that myself.

Nice Billy Goat & Dump trailer; however you got alot of work ahead fabricating the leaf box. You might want to take off the nice debris cover you have on that trailer it will serve no purpose when running the Billy Goat. Smart move investing in a heavy duty Dump trailer you will find many use's for them, Gona have to suck up alot of leafs to pay for that good luck

one 9/16 socket and the time to unscrew 4 3/8 bolts and its off.

I actually got a great deal on this trailer, $5,400 out the door which included Tax,tags, and the rear scooter carrier. The trailer is 10k gvw and came with a siccors lift, heavyduty tie down rings and skid steer ramps which pull out from underneath. The Billygoat 18 hp leaf vac was right around $2800.

Yes i do but it will only take me about 2 days to make one. cover is already off and had no intentions of using it "now" but will put it back on next spring for doing mulch and such.

That stand is also a ramp to pull the blower on and off of,it works great and i bought it at the trailer place. You can buy them on line also just google scooter carriers.

Actually im going to use lumber and a 10 0z mesh screen top, trying to keep some of the cost down lol. I am also going to build it so i can take it apart in 4 or five pieces when im done with it and then simply piece it back together next year.

I like the engineering of the loader braket. I want to shift the goat on mine, facing it the same way. I had a problem with mine clogging, facing frontward.
I dont know why I didn't do that on mine. Also that look like all of its new. Nice..

Is the vac electric start? The pull rope looks like it would be akward to use because it is up so high. The setup looks good.

Hey bigw i sent you a pm and to keep costs down use pvc pipe and not lumber will be about $10-15 for everything you need and much easier to store over the summer. If you'd like i am sure i can send a pm with pictures of how i did mine.

Just my oppinion:

You should get some black chloroplast signs made at a sign shop. it would be cheap money look professional and reusable / removable. Similar to those little jobsite signs but alot bigger.

If it were me I would have got a dump with the high sides on it from the factory. The wood sides just look cheap to me. That trailer looks super heavy duty though and I like that gate system on the back better than the split gates that are hard to open with a load against them.
