Gateway for $4,000?

What do you guys think? Found a shop selling leftover Gateways, brand new, not demos, for $4,000.
I think these normally go for $5,200.
But with the whole John Deere buy out, I'm wondering if it might be a bad idea to get one for fear they discontinue it and make parts hard to come by.
Thoughts?

Buy it!!
Don't worry about parts. Most are used on several other mowers.
Blades are standard 52, wheels and tires are on other units, engine.. etc.
Buy an extra deck belt from the dealer.

If that mower is what you need, then buy it! I've seen the Gateway for as much as $5600.

If the gateway is something that fits your operation, buy it.

I have owned John Deere for 35 yrs, and I will guarantee you that if they are involved, parts will not be a problem. Dealer service will also not be a problem
