im still looking for a open day to run it, he says to call the night before and he will have it there in the morning. do you think there is enough diffrence between a 305 and 304 to justify 5k more in price? it has about 7 more hp and 8'' more dig depth.

bucket break out i think is a lot better on the 305 to check the specs.. 305 is 5,000 more then the 304 there has to be a few reasons why then

im not sure what broke it, abuse from the previous owner. i havent used it yet but im sure it will handle it just fine.

yes and no, yes i will use it there but i just bought it because the bucket i had was a huge joke.

what was wrong with the bucket you had? I am guessing it was just a cheap bucket..

it was just a low profile bucket from a smaller machine, it filled up and would come over the back and get dirt in the quick attach. it just needed a bigger bucket. i would rather have a large but filled 90% and carry the load without spilling it all over as oposed to a small bucket filled 120% spilling all over.

so i guess the ctl will lift and be able to curl that size bucket fine? Like when you are dumping into a high truck for example

yep i tried it out today with a full bucket full of clay and it lifted and dumped it fine. the ass end wasnt even light (the machine has extra counter weights though)

sure does load the kodiak fast now!!!

That's the type of bucket I am looking for for a manure bucket, I like the "triangle" shape better.

Can you still see the cutting edge, or are you "feeling" for it now when you dig?

its to tall to see the cutting edge. its ok because this is going to be my mass excavating/loading bucket and then i will swap the other one in when i need to be cutting grade.

next im going to build a set of very heavy duty forks.

Picasso-

I saw you heading south on 23 this morning around 11:30 or so. Driving the dodge pulling the big green lawnmower trailer. Where is the Deere?

I was going up to Genesee Stone to pick up some limestone caps in a plain Jane NPR...
