View Full Version : ZTR traction on hilly terrain

I'm running a Toro 52" ztr on my property in WVa which is mostly hilly. It does ok if I take it easy. It has OE turf tires. If I went to a more aggressive tire tread would it help traction or just tear up the turf more??
Thanks for any suggestions.

It would help on the hilly areas, but the other areas would suffer as you would tare the turf easer...........:usflag:

We equipped a JD M655 with Carlisle Turf Tamers a few years ago as our hill climber. It goes through a set of tires every 3-400 hours, It will hold the hills better and it will scuff. It's a trade off
