Once I found a spotless DeTomaso Pantera with a title to my name along
with a suitcase holding at least a billion dollars cash and one hot redhead
that said all she wanted was to tag along and please me sexually all day long.

This was while my $5 / hour boys were doing all the hard work
and were doing a superb job as I was supervising this job as the boss.

She said I could have the mansion, too.
It came with the swimming pool, the maid, the chauffeur, and the butler.

I almost retired at the time but it was really not such a big thing,
for me it was as they say, just another day, another dollar.

Penthouse when I was 15.

Hid it in the woods in a grocery bag that was laying in the grass next to it. Looked forward to cutting that lawn every two weeks. I'd always have some mower problems and have to "work" on the mower while I was at that end of the lawn. Found a nice big rock in the woods where I could sit and read- they had some great articles.

I found a nice, healthy cannabis growing between a Foster holly and the house of a well-respected doctor one day. Knowing that they have teenagers, I went to the door and informed the wife that there was something she needed to see.
She recognized it, and then asked me if I thought that one of their friends had planted it there! "Oh, I'm sure of it." :hammerhead:

The worst thing i've found in a yard is a dead fawn.

I show up to cut one day and find a dead, rotting fawn in the middle of the front yard. I didn't have a shovel or a pair of gloves (and yes i'm a little squeamish I'm man enough to admit it) and the home owners where away on vacation and I had instructions to call if any thing came up. They told me to leave it and that he would bury it with his bobcat when he got back.

Uh I prefer wimp than you  Just kidding,

Seriously though, I would have taken care of it. I just called them to ask where I should bury it (they have dogs and i didn't want them to get into it so I needed to know where was a good place to bury it) and to see if i could have borrowed a shovel because i didn't want to make a 15 min. trip back to my house to get a shovel and I don't know how to use or have the owner's permission to use their bobcat so I was limited on options. They said to just leave it where it was since they where on their way home and that he was going to bury it with a pile of brush and rocks in their field behind their house the next day.

A burned matress in the back yard. Turnes out, the customer was found the day before dead on his bed. They estimate he had been dead for 5 weeks! The mail man and myself noticed his mailbox was overflowing, so the next week he called 911 because he saw what looked like smoke in one of the top floor windows. When the cops came and opened the door, the smell hit them and they knew what it was. When they opened the guys bedroom door, what looked like smoke from outside, were millions of flies in the bedroom.

A huge rambo knife on the side of a busy main road.

Lots of earings, bracelets, and a watch, all during cleanups at different sites, almost all had pools.

A couple empty drug bags, and a wet 1/2 zip that looked really old back in the day.

At least 2-3 empty beer cans a week at my medical commercial office behind the large telephone box.

A bloody womens product.

A $20 bill.

A used diaper.

There is probably more. The worst of it comes from commercials and homes with teenagers.

So far nothing spectacular. I've found 1's and 5's before, never anything bigger. Also a lot of useless garbage like condoms (in various states of digression, if you know what I mean), fast food containers. I find a lot of hubcaps, valve stems, miscellaneous car parts like mirrors and pieces of shattered lights, etc..

I guess the most interesting thing I've found/run over was one of those half metal half plastic pellet guns with the little C02 cartridges. I ran over it with my first Z-Turn mower, which was a bobcat (until somebody stole it). It was fairly intense: a loud POP followed by a cloud of white, which was condensation caused by the rapid decompression of the C02 cannister. The thing was all chewed up and almost unrecognizable, so I just threw it away. It took a nice chunk out of one of my blades so I asked that the customer reimburse me for the damage to my mower blade(s). Since their kid had left it there they had no problem with it. 'Sides, there was no way I could have seen it to begin with, it was buried in nearly knee-high grass. Which is why I hate it when customers only want you to mow every 3-4 weeks, but that's another story.

I showed up to do and estimate for plowing a driveway and when I was leaving there was a box at the end of the driveway. Lady had no idea what it was so I went over and picked it up for he. The box was addressed to someone a few towns over. I noticed the end was open and looked in. Brand new metal detector. Lady told me she didn't want it so I took it. I was going to see if I could find the owner of the box but forgot about it cuz it snowed that night. 2 years later its still in the box in my garage.

Me either..money or no money- I wouldn't step foot on the 'Porn-Gay' establishment. I wouldn't want my truck near it either. Gosh..I lost my metal detector a few towns away from my relatives home while there visiting ..wonder if still there? (kidding)..but I would have done a phone number search and called them- let them come pick up. But that's just me- It was their loss and your gain. If it was a piece of my lawn care equipment left or fallen off the truck..say Stihl blower..I would very much appreciate the call who ever found it. Well let me see ........

I have found a 20$, a 5$ , and a 1$ bill all at different times/locations, and every time its been found right after my helper has gone through and picked up....You should see the look on his face when I show him then put it in "my" pocket.
Found car keys, three cell phones ( none of them worked ), coat hangers, ***** wraps, knives, a used dipper, a pillow, sun glasses, but my all time best one is the rabbit that jumped up out of a hole right when the mower was over him, but wait it gets better yet, I had parked my truck in this completely empty parking lot and you know that when I was done mowing, went to get into the truck when I noticed that there were rabbit guts all over the drivers door/window, and I just happened to have left my window cracked open about an inch and found guts on the seat too.....That could only happen to me....

At grocery stores, dollar bills, 5 dollar bills, not me but my helpers one day, one found a five dollar bill and went to brag to the other. The other smiled and said are you going to split with me? The one who found the five said no way. The other said OK, pulled out a 100.00 bill and said I guess that means I don't have to split this with you. True story.
I used to mow for a major truck stop. You just can not believe what those guys will throw out of a truck. One day I came accross a needle hooked to a large bag. One day my walk behind found a metal mud flap holder. That was fun. After that summer I swear I will never ever even think about a truck stop in the future. Mow 30 seconds spend 5 minutes picking up trash.

I looked them over carefully to see if anything was broken or needed to be fixed and found a name and phone number on the blower. It belonged to his neighbor up the street, made for a good day.

I found a 100 dollar bill against a fence once, but the best was the toro 36" walkbehind and the john deere lawn tractor in a ditch behind some tall bushes and over grown grasses. Left them there then went back for them and the Deere was gone. Took the 36 with us and checked with the cops on the serial# and wasn't reported stolen anywhere. We kept it!

A bra at a vacant lot in an area were prostitution is common.
An Iphone. Found the owner and returned it.
Lots of grass for some reason.
Diaper, f*cking gross
Always find fast food trash, but never health food trash.
Honda grill ornament which is now on my mower.

I never find anything good. Mostly garbage, dog poo, and newspapers. One of the things I have noticed for sure it that the poorer the area, the more trash there is around. Wonder why that is?

I found a $50, (2) $20s, and I think a $10 all at one job one day. IT was right across the street from a SECU (state employees credit union) that had been robbed that morning. It was all dyed red.....until it met ascetone (sp?) It was a good day once we figured out how to get the red out.

Wow, I can't believe you kept that money.... pretty low man.
On the other hand, if you had turned it in, they may have tried to pin it on you and probably would have tied you up for hours.....
Tough call.

At a apt complex we found a bike in pieces, wrenches, brake drums, tires, rims, drug baggies, syringes and a lot of burnt spoons. This was all from 2010 spring clean up. Oh yeah and we found a bunch of keys in different sets which the manager had asked all tenants if they were there's. As of a weeks ago they were in the lost and found box. And I did find a winning lottery ticket for $5 as well.

I found a $100 bill on one of my commerical lawns (groc store). Mowed it over - wondered what it was that I hit and saw the '100' on one piece of the bill. Shut my mower down real fast and went scrambling to find the other pieces - lucky for me I found enough to tape together and exchange at the bank for a crisp one. Store mgr said finders keepers on unidentifyable items found in the lawn:)

I didnt know they bank had been robbed until the next day, I guess I should have known by the dye, but whatever. I talked to my banker at wachovia about it and she said it was dyed red, nobody would take it, and the serial numbers or something are considered taken out of circulation until recovered so once it got back to the reserve, or wherever the bank sends money for recirculation, it will identify the serial number, and the money will be shredded or something like that.

It was about a week later when we figured out acetone would get it out. I gave a twenty to the property manager who told me about the robbery, and he took it home and put it in his shop where he works on his car...he was the one who figured out how to get it off...i guess he jsut tried a few things until it worked...so he told me, kept the twenty, and I got the rest.

The $100 bill I found I also mowed over it... I didn't see it until it was to late. I gather all the pieces and brought it to the bank and they gave me a new $100 bill.

Redmax trimmer, the little straight one. Cub cadet tractor. M1a .30 cal. Toro commercial 21 with Suzuki 2-stroke (actually was sitting in the road in front of the property with a bent up wheel adjuster).

I think if you do this long enough you could find almost anything.

Last season I found a dead cat in a lady's front ditch. I asked her about it, and she said she hadn't seen it. I was 10 feet from her driveway and this thing was stinking. I told her I would throw it in the woods behind her house for $20. While scooping it up with the shovel it split open and 3 dead kittens feel out. Between the smell, and the kittens falling out I about puked right there.
