Does anyone know if a '99 F250 srw longbed will swap onto a '95 F250 srw longbed frame without too much headache? I have a guy that wants to trade me a service body for my stock bed- I just want to make sure my bed will work on his truck.
He said he is ok with drilling new holes if need be.

The '95 and '99 have different style beds. The '99 was the first year of the new style for the F250. I don't know if the mounting holes will line up or not but the body lines will be off.

I know this, the '99 is mine.
Does anyone know if my stock ('99) bed would fit on a '95 F250 chassis?

It will fit, but you will have to mount it differently, and not to mention how goofy it will look. The holes wont line up so he will have to drill. Its probably not worth it for him. He needs to trade yours for a flat bed.

The 99 will have one fuel tank with one fuel door. The 95 will most likely have two fuel doors, for two tanks. May cause some hassle with the swap.

The frames are very similar and i have done the swap before, with service bodies, the fuel necks are a pain put is is a 1/2 day job if you have the right tools, I have a picture of a 99 f250 that we put a bed that came off a 1993 f350
the frames are the same width on the trucks. Some years are a Little different, if it was a factory cab and chassis the frame will be 2" narrower.

finally someone who answered his question the way i think he wanted; without oppions of looks or concerns other than will it fit! a flatbed? he wants a service body. im tired of people throwing in their 2cents of what you should get over what you want, just answer the question
