I have been running a paver installation business for 1 year as a side job...My primary job is now slow(also paver installs) and I want to expand my paver business to full time. I figured to do so I would diversify primarily with lawn care. I would be definitly jumping into the lawn care business, the only experiences I have had are childhood jobs, and my own lawn...

Is there any license that I would need to obtain when doing lawn care in the state of FL or GA?

I have looked into purchasing accounts that may be for sale in this area...

What is the best way of doing so?

Considering I have never run a lawn care business, what is the rational thinking when buying accounts that are for sale?

Thanks for the help

Is there a general license to obtain to help boost reliability?

Does anybody have any advice about buying lawn care accounts or formerly owned lawn care businesses?

Any links? Info?

Thanks

Remember, if you are "lawn care" then people usually expect full service, fertilizing, aerating, power raking etc. If you just want to mow, then advertise as lawn mowing. Also less licensing! And it's easier!
