Hi all,

I've recently come across a '95 K2500 ext. cab longbed with the 350, auto, 127000.

I'll spare you all the details, except that it is just below excellent condition, and they are asking $4800.

Basically, who has had experience with this truck? I currently have a '93 K1500, but I'm looking to up my ante here with more power, space, etc.

I've done my homework, read reviews, etc tonight, but I'm looking for some first-hand experience. I'd appreciate any thoughts, good or bad.

I had a '93 1500 305, then bought a '92 2500 with a manual trans and 350. Strong truck, I really beat the hell out of it for 3 years up until it got into an accident. I felt a little safer pulling all the weight with it compared to the 1500. A guy bought it and fixed it and its well over 200k now and still running strong. In my opinion the power was lacking a little though. I pulled a landscape trailer and even towed a few cars with it. I got a good deal on a 99 Ford 150 5.4 and I now also have a '98 350, both have quite a bit more towing power. Now since the one you are looking at is a '95, its gonna be EFI instead of my TBI, I don't know the difference in power so this might not be a good comparison.

I hope to take it for a ride today, so we'll see about power. I have the 4.3 in my 1500 now, so this might be a little better.

Thanks.
