i have an 02 dodge ram 1500 and it pulls my little trailer without problem but if i was going to be pulling something like that i would definately be running some electric brakes

You will be fine I have a 6x10 Bri Mar dump with a leaf box and my 97 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.2 pulls it fine. I have put 1 1/2 cords of firewood in the leaf box and my truck pulled it fine. Just make sure you have electric brakes.

Yeah i have electric brakes. What would be best to put in the rear end so it doesnt go down so much when i hook the trailer up to it? Airbag?

You'll be fine, but you'll also me much safer in a 2500. Don't go on highways with it. The difference between a 1500 and 2500 is night and day. I had an atv in my 1500 on the highway and its all over the road compared to my 2500's.

i think if you have electric brakes on the trailer thats gonna help and if you wanted to put a timbren kit in the rear so it doesnt squat down too much that would help alot .but one thing is for sure its still a 1/2 ton and if you get pulled over by your states truck squad (dot)you might be in for a ticket.check out TRUCKSPRING.COM for the timbren kit
for $195 - $265 you can get a nice set-up.good luck.
ps i just ordered the timbrens for my truck ,they should be in within 3to7 days so if i can be of any help just ask.
