I've been looking at a new backpack blower. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts about these? or others?

Don't buy Troy Bilt products if your serious about Quality. MTD has really put a strangle hold on this company. There products are pure crap, just like a homelite or something.

I agree. Don't buy a Troy Built if you want one that will last. Get an ECHO PB-755. It will outlast anything out there and it has great power.

you can get a smaller commercial unit like a STIHL BR 340 that will work great if you dont want to spend lots of $$ on the BR 600

Thanks everyone. We bought two of the Echo BR620's. The consideration of the Troy built was because my wife works for Lowes and gets the discount :-) My professional self overcame my "cheap" self...lol
Thanks again guys

you wouldn't have been happy.
The PB620's from echo are good blowers if you aren't into the to the larger line of blowers. I think they are about 575cfm at the tube for 400 bucks and a 2 year warranty.
