What do you guys charge for mulch?? If you charged by the bag. In the past i havn't done a lot of mulching but want to know what you think i can charge.

We charge per yard installed.

We charge per yard spread. In my area, it's 50-55 bucks a yard sperad. my cost is roughly 12-20/yard

We charge per yard. Around here the prices are all over the board. Any where from $50.00 to $75.00 per yard. Price depends on the size (smaller jobs = more per yrd.), pre-emergence and/or edging included.
When I submit a bid, I give one price that includes mulch, installation, and pre-emergence application. I give another price for bed edging. I do this because if I charge a flat rate for mulching that includes edging I would lose my butt on jobs with a lot of edging.

We charge $49.50 per yard installed for our contracted customers and $55.50 per yard for all others.
