Is static a problem when blowing leaves thru PVC pipe???

I am in the process of mounting my BG vac on my plow mount to vacuum leaves and blow them in a box on my dump bed.......is there any issue with static and blowing leaves thru a PVC pipe to the box..........pics soon.....

i had one set up on a trailer, it did great until i tried wet leaves, they stuck and clogged up the pipe

I can see where the wet leaves would be a clogging problem. I think DRM Ventures is concerned about a fire.

It certainly would be a problem if the leaves began smoldering in the middle of the pile in the trailer box. Has anyone ever had a fire in the trailer box ?
