I think I'm done trying to call and email LCO's who advertise for help on Craigslist around here.
I must have emailed/called over 25 ads or so(not kidding), and not one call back or answer whatsoever - I've worked with my hands all of my life, and just find it a little frustrating, that's all.
I'm in the process of gathering equipment(and starting to mow friends' lawns) and am well aware that we are creeping into the slower season, but plan on becoming a full-time solo LCO eventually. I enjoy the solitude of working outside by myself, as compared to being a "company guy" in a large car dealership or corporate shop, such as the one I currently work for.
I am curious as to what the opinions are from some of the local LCO's on here that like their job on how they got clientele starting out, or even, how they themselves got started.
Thanks in advance, guys.
- As a side note: I realize I am older than most starting out, but I exercise regularly and have a physical job so I am in pretty decent shape(I try to run twice a week with dumbbells in my hands - it's fun!:hammerhead:).
