I've never heard of it. Is this the product brand name, or what?

Best Sand out of Ohio sells it. Ask a golf course superintendent. They know everything.

I read something a few years ago about a "green sand", that was a product that was brought up from ocean sand, or something, but I don't remember that much about it.

Maybe it's the green sand they have at golf courses to repair divots, or it could be a soil amendment mined here in Southern New Jersey as a source of potassium.

Golf courses also make their own. They will use a portable cement/mortar mixer. I do not know where to get the dye. Again, ask a superintendent at an upscale course.
