This year we used a mix of RTF, Thermal Blue and Tri rye gold. Seems to be germinating well but time will tell if it was worth the expense (2.5 times the cost of tri rye alone).

We don't use a lot of fescue, but Lesco's Athletic mix which is 70%KBG-30% PR has been excellent. I know the fescues have come a long way lately, I just have had such good luck with this blend, I can't change. I can't remember the varieties other than midnight.

Call me a dummy, but this is Year II using Stetson (Single cultivar) and it really has performed exceptionally. Next year it will be Lescoe's Transition Blend.

Lesco PRO Transition Blend for our area. Used Lesco Tri-gold for last couple of years but can't see the difference in performance or price vs. Transition PRO Blend from JD Landscapes.

Have to agree with LawnSharks. Seeded and over seeded several stands with Lesco Transition blend back in early spring. Considering the summer we had here it held up quite well with little to no watering due to restrictions.
