I am a shindaiwa fan myself. But going by my dealers advice i passed on the 8510 and bought a 630. He told me most of the units were having problems with overheating and recommended me not to buy one. He stopped selling them because he was sick of the flack from all the lco's. I believe shindy is coming out with a replacement for next year but im not positive of that.

It's coming from a reseller so you have no history on it. Maybe $100 tops, but I'm sure it'll go for more than that with leaf season approaching.

Buy new from your dealer and have the peace of mind that you will have a warranty with the blower. You don't know if the blower was run with the right ratio of mix.

He said he would end the auction for $375 but I can get a brand new br600 for 100 bucks more. I'm heartbroken after having my Redmax 8000 stolen just a few weeks before leaf season....I'm seeing red. Anyway I figured I would use it as an oppurtunity to try something new, I still have another 8000...but I'm liking the Stihl. What do you guys think?
