I am being offered an Echo tc2100 Cultivator for $85. I need a small cultivator for use at home, and thought one might come in handy at times on some of my smaller mulch jobs etc. Has anyone had experience with these? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy the attachment for my Stihl? Thanks for any imput

the echo and a mantis tiller are pretty much the same unit. they have there place. I have one and till flower beds twice a year. also for some small landscape installs they work well to prep an area and loosen up the soil.
we have a playground at one of the jobsites, and use the echos to fluff up the playground mulch.
it has alot of uses, and for $85 I would jump at the opportunity.

Thanks for the reply. I went and looked at it yesterday and bought it. I figured it would be good for my home use if nothing else. Glad to hear that I made the right decision.
