I haven't used one yet, but the Husqvarna Commercial 21" looks like a dang nice unit. Know of quite a few of them being used around here. I'll probably get one next summer if I decide to buy a new 21".

How old was your Toro? I have used Toro push mowers commercially for years. It takes a lot to kill a mower engine. Did you maintain the mower?Check oil and all the other things that go alone with routine maintenance?
If you are not big on maintenance I would buy the cheapest mower out there. No sense in wasting money nor a good machine..

I like the Honda HRX217 great mower can change from bagging to mulching in a second. Either way, I agree with Redmaxman Honda makes great engines

Did not mean to sound rude. Sounds like the mower had a long good life. I would go with another Toro or Honda.

I would go with the TORO. That 6.5 you had is only a consumer mower. If u use it a lot u will wear the tranny out in no time. TORO makes a really nice Commercial 21" mower w/ the personal pace self propel. Its mounted much stiffer that the consumer jobs and it comes w a kawisaki engine, and toro's nice cast aluminum deck. It retail for about $850 or $900. Whatever you do dont go w the Lawn Boy. Thats a consumer engine, its got a plastic cam and wont hold up, u will b unhappy real quick. Even the new commercial Lawn Boy has the same engine but w cast alum wheels and cast alum deck

You had a low end toro (steel deck, fwd most likely). The mid line aluminum decks and commercial series are better.
