Flex Seat Usage on Hustler Z S/N 927772

I am rebuilding a mower that was in a barn fire. Will the flex seat fit on the existing seat pan with modification, or can another models seat pan be purchased to use with the S/N model?

Does the flex seat inlclude suspension, could someone describe the flex seat and exactly what is included? Thanks!

It does not come with a seat, it is only the seat pan, you don't use the seat pan thats on the mower.
So there will not be any suspension unless you buy a suspension seat to bolt up to it.
The Flex is in the pan assembly and provides a rocking type flexing from front to rear.
We don't recommend the Flex seat for your model due to the seat being able to flex back to far and possible hit the air filter / filter minder depending on how old your mower is.

This mower used the Remote Air Clean Mount Bracket with the HD Air Cleaner on top. Is this the model that will cause potential issues, or is it where the HD Air Cleaner is mounted directly to the motor?

I have the flexibility to do either based on the engine I purchase.

The potential for hitting the filter or the filter minder was / is with the remote mounted set up.

So if I added the hi performance air filter kit with the wing to my Hustler Z, then the flex seat option is out? I thought that wing was about the same as on the Super Z?

The pre 07/08 Hustler Z's used a different mount for the remote air cleaner.
The Super Z style remote mount (also holds the hydro coolers) is safe with the Flex Seat.
