Maryland area

Need help bidding on a job i looked at today. The property is a nursing home.
5 acres to be cut. They need a bid by tomorrow afternoon.
I was thinking 350.00 per cut, this works out to about 70.00 acre. front of property there is a hill not to bad but will require just trimming in some spots. it is about 300' long and 20' wide. they also want me to include string trimming around the building where there is no grass but alot of weeds and brown grasses growing up through the cracks. Also pick up trash off lawn and parking lot area.

That sounds kinda low. You should calculate and charge by the square foot

$350 sounds fine but you will probally see lower bids and just how often do they want mowing and trash pickup.

Bid by how long you think the job will take. Use your hourly rate plus whatever percentage you want to make off the job.

sounds ok. whats that gonna take 2.5 hours by yourself with a 60" Z. I think lawns etc is right that there will be lower bids.
