Bermuda and Walker 52" deck

Anyone out there use the 52" mulching deck on bermuda grass.
I currently have a 42GHS, and it does a great job on bermuda, zoysia, and centipede, but doesnt cut fescue all that well. I was wondering if the 52 mulching deck would be the answer. I am at a point that I need to purchase a W/Behind for the fescue, or look into different decks for the walker. Thanks

I, only do a couple of fescue lawns here, ones that have about 100% shade. I use my Walker 42" mulching deck and it works good as long as the grass is not too wet. In wet fescue, it makes a gummy mess out of the mulched clippings.:)

lawnfire, I remember being a little disappointed with the fescue cut last summer when I first got a walker, too. It seemed to be missing some blades, especially in thinner stands.

try running the deck 1/2" lower in back than front. I started doing this and have a great cut on fescue now.
