Those trucks look kinda goofy when you see them in person. Or at least that's what I think. I've seen a few at my Ford/Sterling dealership and they just look funny.

I stoped at my local dealer on Sunday, the cab is too long. A friend has a 1 ton Dodge and they look the same.

The tranny in that truck is fine. Its got a 6 speed Aiasin which is the same tranny used in the Isuzu and Mitsubishi cab over trucks.
I thought you were gonne get an NPR sfl??

Yeah the Isuzu NPR is what I want in real life guess I was just dreaming a little.
My friend just got an NPR for $5500 and dovetailed the rear for $1200. I need to start looking. I hate my enclosed trailer.
Aiasin makes the locking hubs on my 86 toyota. which by the way is damn near bullet proof.

Give it a few years, and maybe we'll be able to get a Chevy with a Hemi!

From what i heard/saw from the dealer they just just used dodge's body and frame. When I looked at underside of it and compared it to the F250 next to it, all around better looking. It had leaf springs in the front with a solid front axle, heavier solid arms unlike fords welded 2 peice arms. The only thing I really really really don't like about it is the large amount of cross members in it makes it hard to drop tranny's and fuel tanks.

One of my trucks is a late model '05 F350 quad cab with a 9' electric/hydraulic stake body dump. Runs the V-10 with the 6 spd manual. Averages 12.5 mph even with some of the lighter mower trailers. Yanking my 9,000 lbs irrigation set up I see about 10 mpg.

What's the smallest dump truck you can get these days? Like with a V8 or even 6 cylinder.

Ford bought some cummins stock years ago and cummins bought it back shortly thereafter. Ford has no control or ownership of cummins at the moment as far as I know
