Boston did the unthinkable tonight, the unimaginable. Down 7-0 in the seventh inning of an elimination game, the Red Sox -- behind home runs from David Ortiz and J.D. Drew -- rallied to stun the Rays 8-7 in Game 5 of the ALCS on Thursday night. Game 6 is Saturday.

True, sometimes you've got to wonder? There sure was a whole lot of clutch hitting going on after the 6th Inning tonight.

GO back to mowing lawns boys, and leave the conspiracy nonsense to bloggers with no lives! If it was rigged, then the Dodgers (West cost, second largest market in the US) would be representing the NL, and Torre and Manny would be taking on Boston. You boys been leaving the backpack blowers on for long periods of time with the shop doors closed again? just kidding fellas have a good weekend. I am a Mets fan, I am just plain miserable!

Suckz for the Mets! I felt really bad for the Met fans up there in NY. The Mets' 3A minor league team, New Orleans Zephyrs, has called New Orleans 'home' for the past several years. We were proud to rally behind them; examples: Fernando Tatis, Argenis Reyes, Anderson Hernandez, Michel Abreau, and then pitcher Rudy Lugo - former Oakland A's pitcher and is also RedSox SS Julio Lugo's brother). They knew how to pump up the crowd!

We New Orleans Zepyhyrs/Met fans feel your pain. For next year, it is unfortunate for us that the Mets organization has found another 3A team organizatin to hook up with. So now, the New Orleans Zephyrs are linked up with the Florida Marlins for 2009 and beyond. My son is not happy about it either, but I guess we'll have to get used to it because we love Baseball and stand tall with the crowds!

I am a Cardinals fan. Even though the Red Sox took it to them in 2004 I have to say I love how the Red Sox play the game of baseball. You never know where a BIG two out RBI is going to come from with that line-up. The do all the little things right. I think this series is still far from over

My Dad is a Cardinals fan. He stands by those fellas! They were a tough opponent for a lot of teams to matchup again this season. Keep an eye on those Cardinals!

I, like most folks watching the game last night, thought it was gonna end then. But low and behold, Papi struck up the band!

Yes sir, indeed! My oldest son, 9, is a die-hard fan! Since I've been a RedSox fan most of my life, I must admit that I brainwashed him about three years ago - perfect timing though, cause he got to witness the team rise again from their 2004 World Series Title.

2007 Season: My son was awarded this ball during the game, which was fouled off by then Braves batter, Andrew Jones - pitching was RedSox' Mike Timlin.
