Why wouldn't you? Thats one less trip to the gas station.

It wouldn't be so bad now but when gas was $4.00/gallon thats about $150 bucks at once and I just dont want to spend that much at one time. Just personal preference is all. You make a good point though. I might start doing that

So what do you boys think would look better behind it? A 6.5x12 aluma trailer with gate or a 16' tandem axle utility trailer with gate?

slamjamrockinman

tandem axle for sure. Might need some add a leafs or airbags though. I think it's better to buy a more heavy duty trailer. Never know when you might need to rent a skid or haul some heavy gravel.

its got airbags on it...they just dont have alot of air in them cuz i dont haul heavy loads and it looks better with less in them

I have a 94' F-150 and love it. I got 2 20 gallons though. Be careful not keeping gas in both tanks, you'll get stuff in the bottom of them if they set empty. I keep both of mine filled all the time.

Add timbrens in the front to bring it up and then inflate the airbags. I pulled a 20 foot tandem axle with mine a couple weeks ago and it looked good and handled it good

Scag413

I always keep some gas in both tanks but not all the way full...and what are timberns?

yes, I would for sure go with the tandem axle, then you're not as limited to the weight you can haul and they are a lit easier to back.

I am not worried about backing up a trailer. I can put my little 5x9 anywhere I want to and the bigger the trailer the easier it is so idc about that part

I just dropped in a 351 Windsor and put on Magnaflow dual exhaust. The other engine was ran out of oil by the previous owner and started to knock so I replaced it. The engine now has 1,300 miles and the transmission has 73,82*
So far I haven't found one spec of rust on my truck. I do have some big plans for it though
