Question about Billy Goat or Giant-vac truck bed mounted units...

For those of you out there that have a debris/leaf loader that mounts to your tailgate, do you notice that it scratches or dulls the paint on your tailgate? I have a lease, so I have to be careful about how much wear and tear I put on my truck.

Chances are if you mount it to your truck tailgate you mine as well commit to purchasing a new tailgate when you trade the truck in at the end of the lease, your better option would be to get a swing mount for it that will operate off of your trailer hitch. Personally I wouldn't suggest using a leaf loader on a leased vehicle because of the dust particles that are hard to contain because the leaf box must be vented and the dust particles will end up getting in the cab every time you open the door after doing a job plus it will get into the ac-heating system if you aren't careful. Hope you can purchase the vehicle outright at the end of the lease.
