Congrats Chuck, it is on a roll now. I remember when there were just a couple posts and I was the 5th member. Seems like it should be years ago, but it was less than 7 months ago. :)
----------
<a href="http://pages.prodigy.net/eric.erickson/">Eric@ELM</a>
Yes, LawnSite.com was launched on December 22, 1999.
This is why LawnSite.com is the number one commercial lawn site on the internet.

Oh Yeah....well without me this forum would only have 19,655 posts!! LOL just kidding congrats chuck on the success of a great site. You should be a very happy man when you think about all the people you helped by keeping this forum alive. I think the best part of it is you don't censor any posts unless they get completely off-topic and vulgar. I like that a lot! I remember another place on the web that I used to participate at that would completely delete posts because he didn't like or agree what someone was saying. It was pretty funny actually I think, especially if you read through the archives and can't put the whole story together. Wich gets me to my next point, I think this place has been very succesful because a lot of us have become friends here and know a bit about each other. It gives people a p-lace to come and shoot out there thoughts for the day. Again, Thanks for all your hard work Chuck, and we owe eric a thank you for his help also!! Thanks Guys

----------
<a href="http://communities.msn.com/guidosequipmentpics/">"Guido"</a>
David M. Famiglietti

Edited by: guido

Hallofforums.com was up for a couple months before I decided to go with lawnsite.com and scratch the hallofforums.com idea.

good.... i new i wasnt crazy. I remember the first night i came across hallofforums. there was a little over 400 posts and i spent 5 hours that night reading every single post. I thought it was great to finally have a q&A board. To this day i have continued to read everysingle post since november. Dosnt matter how tired i am when i get home from work... until i read the days posts i do not do anything else. By the way is there a site i can go to see old posts from the original hallofforums?

Edited by: Evan528

I'm also interested in older issues of this forum. This is pretty interesting. I've checkedout a couple of others. This is great!!!!!!!

Oh, i have learned to take it more in stride, but he does kinda ruin it a bit, and is the reason he is banned everywhere but there...even in AU!

How many remember hallofforums? I sure do. My join date was 12/23/1999, when the Forum was managed under hallofforums, and Chuck (referred to in the early posts in the thread) was the administrator.

If it wasn't for him starting new threads that site would be completely dead too, give him hell!

He is very entertaining to say the least, I often wonder if he actually experiences half the crap he puts up there or if just sits on his mower all day thinking of crap to post. It is true that he creates most of the activity on LT.

LT is the initials of another forum about lawn care, cant post it here, and AU stands for australia.
