I've had bigger lol. Around here the city won't allow contractors to leave stuff at the curb, only homeowners:rolleyes: I do where I can get away with it since it saves the customer money they usually don't mind.

yeah what keeps em in a pile? I could see a gust of wind sending it over to the neighbors yard and all over the road? Maybe I'm just used to dry leaves and those were wet who knows, but fill us in.

I too try to take advantage of the tax payers city services becuase it saves the customer a ton of money and I can do more jobs too. What I do to help stop prevent them from blowing back on the property I would take the mulched leaves from the mower and put them evenly on top of the pile, weighing them down to help prevent them from moving. I also might try to wet them a little with the hose to help keep them from moving.

Hey, do you guys have to bag leaves up there with the paper bags? In some towns we do too, and saving the dump fees I just mulch them with the mower and me and my helper(s) bag em up quick. (or we try to go quick)

they go in the back of my truck. The only thing it costs me to dump is my time

Same with my area, and we don't really have much on the ground during fall and winter.

We can use plastic bags here, the dump then puts the county inmates on work release to rip open the bags and pile them up.

we pile them up the same way here and the city comes by twice a day and sucks them up. really does allow you to get a lot of jobs done. most of my piles are that size and its only the first round.

the only places i have troubles with them blowing away is along busy routes that have semi traffic.

Haha! Cities with money to spend. Thats funny. :hammerhead:
That would never cross Atlanta's mind. They are supposed to pick up brush piles, but I'v seen them out by the street for months at a time. It would be a disaster if they were responsible for picking up leaves.:hammerhead::dizzy:
