Well i was mad at it. The a/c went out and i didnt want to spend the three grand to fix it. It was starting to get lotsa little rattles here and there. But i was just in the mood for something new. And the fuel economy just sucked...O well.

Getting ready to do ball joints in mine at 100,000 miles. One look at the hoops I'll have to jump through to get these things off almost made me trade it in like yours. I'll give her another chance to behave though.

I like those texas landscapes a lot.

I miss 4x4 so much!!! I hate that i dont have it anymore.

Its the type of duramax. LB7 was 01-04.5, LLY was 04.5-06.5. LBZ was 06.5-07.5. And current is LMM. Just the power differances.

That's some cool landscaping. I have never dealt with gravel. Very seldom do people have it or use it in Florida. I like it though. Is that D-Max fast? I assume its still relatively stock?

Wish my 1500 had a 4 cylinder Duramax in it!

That stuff is decomposed granite. Very cool stuff. It actually locks up so weeds have a hard time getting thru.

It is extremely fast. My neighbor has a vortec max half ton and my truck hangs with it and starts to pull away at higher speeds. It is completely stock except for straight pipe.

I think it would open up alot of jobs for you. I did my first system for cost a couple years ago... one of the best investments I ever made. It seems with ours it almost always doubles our scope of work on a landscape. Grade, irrigate and sod.

Did you do the pars on the home?..... I doubt you did. So are you going to cap the lines and put in LV lighting. I dont see anything to crazy about the landscaping. Do you have pictures of other work. Just seems like a pretty straight forward cookie cutter jobs. No real inspiration to the plants. But the trailer does look nice. Since you seem like a picture guy lets see some pics of a lighting install/trailer with lighting setup. Ryan seems like none of the lighting guys do this type stuff. But next job I will take some pics during the install. You know trenches and trans setup. All the good stuff

Ill see what i can put together for lighting. The homeowner didnt want anything fancy for the landscape, so i did a basic texas native job. My website has most of my lighting jobs: www.texasnightscapes.com Landscape: www.majescticcustomoutdoors.com

The builder did the stupid lighting on the house. Im trying my best to convince him to cap those and let me light it properly. Im getting pretty close on him saying yes to lighting. Especially after he has lived with them for a few days, he really hates em.

I like to manifold 2 valves together in a 10" Carson valve box... or up to 4 in a standard Carson valve box. It does look kind of shoddy having four 6" valve boxes though... those 6" valve boxes are crap. I still think you can manifold correctly if you leave room to make cuts for repairs. It just all depends on how wire/pipe and what is the most cost efficient way of doing it.

thought you got rid of the F-250. Do you have a building at the shop or is it just a lot? Is that skid a rental? That landscaping looks good to me:laugh: you should see some of the crap that goes on down here.

I will never get rid of that truck!! The building is just to the left of the pictures. Its my dads building. Next year when the tenant moves out it will be mine. It is a rental. the pictures didnt make it look as bad as it was...

The mailboxes way too close to the road for a road that narrow was what gave it away. That and most of the homes out there have really crappy drainage slopes one way or the other.

Well it has 7500# axles so thats a 15k capacity. The trailer weighs about 5k so that leaves me with 10k to throw on there! We made it not so much of a hump and slopped it on the back so you can actually mow it.

Thats for sure, it wasnt planned out real well by the developer. Deer creek is i think one of the most recognizable places! I have to credit my sprinkler guy for getting me the job!

Yeh i delved more into that trailer more. Its a rental from the company i rented the skid from. I thought they were 7's but turns they are only 5's!! Idiots, so yeh it was way over loaded. I let them have it to.

Yeh i need to get more up here. I have the truck re-lettered, and ive done a couple more jobs since then. Ill try to get em up tonight. Here ill put em up now.

I was guessing they were 5's. I got 7 thousand pound axles and they are bigger than that, and the trailer itself just doesnt look built that heavy, mine is built like a freakn tank and wieghts the same as one to!

Nightscapes is lighting, Majestic is landscaping. Im just advertisin lighting on the truck as well. I have a biz partner with the lighting so i have to keep them seperate.

At first you said the Bobcat was in terrible condition, then you say it's awsome.

Landscape jobs look okay. I don't understand the style, but whatever. Not my judgment, but I think a lot more can be done with those. I've never met a customer I couldn't talk up 25% on their price to get it done correctly.

Lighting looks pretty good. Again, I'm sure you could have talked them up a little and done a killer job. I really don't understand why the truck displays the website so prominently when the website is not complete. I think you could definitely beef-up the website to really draw customers in.

And why do you keep bumping it??? If someone posts great, or add pictures to it. People can look at the thread if they really want to see it, it doesn't have to be at page one all the time. We gotta make room for the new posts!!

Good work, you're off to a good start. Good luck in the future.

I never said it was in terrible condition. And there is Nothing wrong with my lighting. I take serious offense to that. That is my pride and joy. I do the best i can with the budget.

The website is good enough to promote.

The last i checked this was a free site, and i can bump it if i want. Thats the style of landscapes down here. Whats wrong with them? And i havent just started.

We are all always growing, so unless you never plan to expand, yeah awesome start. I think the enclosed looks awesome.

I don't really understand the big deal, try to help and you don't want to hear it. Honestly, use that website so sell them on your work was all I meant.

Sorry if you took it the wrong way. As often happens on here you just try to put down some ways to improve. You did ask for comments btw

Damn... This property is tougher to pin down... It's obviously a pretty close knit subdivision because the neighbor's house is right on top of this one and I see the house across the street in the reflection of the front window. I'm going to guess either one of the newer smaller areas in Clear Lake, that subdivision over off Washington by Austin Elementary or some subdivision in Aledo I havent thought of... Am I even close?
