looking for a place to get a redmax carb. my dealer was 98 bucks for one. i looked on the walbro ( i think thats how to spell it) site. but the carb for the 2401s isnt for sale over the internet.

You will need the specific numbers off the Carb. to find the exact match, but J-Thomas sells a bunch of carbs. for Redmax tools.

The carb you're looking for is a WYA-53A or 53B twin barrel. Why I know? Mine gave up the ghost as well. My dealer was able to supply me a rebuild kit. But he had some sort of trouble ordering it and wasn't cheap as well.
I can remember the days when carb kits cost $16. Those were good times.

What is wrong with the carb that you need to replace it??? They are rebuildable and can be adjusted by the dealer. There is a service bulletin that shows how to adjust.
