99 F-250 Standard Cab Price

I am looking at a 1999 F-250 standard cab w/ 8ft ben and factory liner. It is a XL 5.4L so nothing special. It is a super duty with 75,000 miles, tow hitch, brake controler, newer tires, 8ft Boss plow which is 4 yrs old and in good shape. I got him down to $8500.00. I know this truck is going for $4,000 to $5,000 at auction without plow but tgen you have auction fees and shop cost to run it through and inspect it. I am taking it to my 4wd shop to make sure it checks out. Should I jump on it or keep looking. I have the option to finance it since it the plow truck from my country clipper dealer.

i would pass! you could find a diesel for tht price. the 5.4l was not meant to do alot of plowing and pushing. Since it was a county plow truck, it was prolly beat to death

No deal! Kajun found and 04 4x4 for much cheaper than that, and way less miles! Reg cabs loose value pretty fast without the diesel option.

Sorry I must have wrote it wrong it was used to plow the lot of Buck's motorsports. Its about 1/3 acre.
