I'm looking on getting a 52" mower and came across a bobcat 52" hydro mower that has the old manual blade lever (not the electric clutch) he says the machine is about 6 years old and it was a factory leftover when he bought it cause they had just changed to the elec. clutch. It has no hour meter on the mower, but it has the original paint that looks in good shade. The owner is retiring this fall, and showed me a receipt for a new 17hp Kawi kai engine he put on last month. The deck looks in good shape there is one spot between the 2nd and 3rd blade where the baffles have been re welded where the curves meet. All the spindles seem to be tight (no play in the bearings) He told me that 1 of the spindles was replaced but the rest are original. He is asking 3000 for the machine. Is this a good price? how much do you guys think it is worth?
