I bought some several years ago and did not like them, but I have heard from some people on here that do. My personal opinion is that I would rather run double blades if needed, but that is just my opinion.

Save your money. Doubles work just as well and cost you much less.

I was thinking about buying a set as most of my mowing is in very high grass. 2 to 5 yrs growth has been average and i was hoping they would help save my spindle's when i hit rocks and roots. has any one used them for this application ?

I have been using Meg-mos for leaves for years.......I find that they are great.... plus I do not have to sharpen them nearly as often. They have a new knife design that I will be trying out in the spring.......in the past I have not been thrilled with their performance in wet, tall grass......

Make sure you have plenty of power to run them.....

I have been using them for 5 years on grass and leaves. On wet grass no clumps. and has saved my spindle's a number of times.

pros: chops up leaves pretty well. cons: overpriced, clumps with wet grass, blades bend back in tall grass, causes deck to build up with grass, and poor customer service. I tried to return them and get my money back but my emails and phone calls were ignored.
