In selling lights, garland and wreaths what are some ways that you guys use to present your value to the customer? For instance if i was doing a job and went to the neighbors with garlands or wreaths. Thanks for the info

The only way to sell this business is to use products that folks can't get locally. 3000 hour bulbs, ultra nice garland and wreaths ( we use Holiday Bright Lights Noble), Bows for wreaths, light links, starbursts, etc. I bring many of these items to the first appointment to show the customer the value of hiring a professional. It works for me.

Agreed! We are an all LED company, still the only one in the state.. so that helps. i bring big box store lights with me and show how much better our LED's are than them...
Are commercial business' able to write this off as a marketing expense? If so that should help in the sell.

Yep. You can also write off your own house and any other houses you do for free as advertisment for your own company.
