View Full Version : is this a good dump insert?

i know about the 2 different ez dumper websites. A guy has this ez dumper used from the following website: http://ezdumper.com/dumper.html
it is from that site. It is in pretty good shape, and he will sell it for $1,800 with the mesh sides which is an optional factory accessory. I can buy a new downeaster for $2,800. My question is, does that ez dumper company make good inserts?

Yes, they are comparable to any one of the other inserts out there. I have one of their dump trailers and it is built well. There are others that are more "over built" but this one serves my needs adequately. I believe Redmax Man on here has one and has said it worked well for him.

i had one it was great i sold it and wish i still had it

Hmmm...that's strange...same exact name as mine. I wouldn't have thought 2 different companies could have the same name....???

We bought one of those a few months ago. It is mounted in a 95 F-250. It does fine for most stuff. We don't have the mesh sides like the first picture has. If you put dirt in it any higher than the sides it might not be able to dump it. But we have filled it with wood and a bunch of other stuff and it has been fine. Is priced quite well too.

i just use it for weekly grass clippings, leaves, rubbish and mulch. dirt, rock, sand, ect i have dropped off. if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay. thanks

I believe we got it for $2400...might have been a bit less. That is with the cab protector. I also live in Ontario Canada so it may be a bit cheaper for you. Not sure though. I believe it is rated to dump 3000 pounds evenly distributed. Anymore questions, just ask. :)

look at a maxi dump. Another lco in my area has an ez dumper and it looks like
something he got at wal-mart compared to my maxi dump.:weightlifter:

i bought a new downeaster. its sweet. i will try and get come pictures up by the weekend.
