yes, you can still pull a trailer with this set-up, however, you will definitely need a trailer with an extended tongue no matter how you mount it to your truck. my truck has a second small receiver hitch about 1 foot above the pintle hitch on the back of my dump truck, the lesco swing away goes there. Also to note, you will have to relocate your trailer jack if it is at the very front of your trailer tongue. I will post a pic later, good luck with your set-up

I built a double hitch. I also use a 12" extender receiver tube to bring the receiver ball out further..

I'll post pics of mine soon. You can still pull a trailer but in most cases or mine at least, there are other things you need to think about. First I bought the swing away mount, then realized I had to put the extended hitch which was like $150, then realized the trailer plug on my trailer wouldn't reach the plug now that the swing away mount was there so I had to spend another $20 on an extender. Hopefully when all is said and done it will work, because so far I've dont nothing but dump money into leaves lol

Overall I should be able to just fine once I get the extension cable. I mean I could now I just wouldn't have any lights or brakes on the trailers lol. It just sucks that what starts out as a $2500 vacuum, ends up being more like a $3200 pain in the butt just to suck up some leaves lol
