Mulching time? (time of year)

this is somewhat realted to my how to sell in mulch work thread. My question and concern is at what time to you tend to do the most mulch installation? Is there a time you have found that people tend to want mulch or is it just as they come? Is there a time of year plants and beds benifit more from mulch? In my own prefrence I like to have mulch down before any bedding plants are in? What about you?

We do mulching right up til Dec., but I'd say the heavy bulk of the mulching is right after the spring cleanups...
