thinking of doing some spot treating in some yards this late in ohio. Control will be minimum this yr. of course but will it kill at all in the spring. Or is this simply a waste. Thanks

use an ester 3 way like cool power and you will be good. I have a lot of chickweed popping now that we got rain. I will spray up to thanksgiving.

I think Three-Way Selective will work fine. Things happen slower at cool temperatures. It will be particularly effective for the dandelions and winter annual weeds like chickweed, hairy cress, veronica, and henbit. Use the maximum rate. Add some Lesco Hawkeye for better wetting of the leaves. It will not last until spring. However...the above weeds will have disappeared, so the turf will be almost weed-free in the spring.

Actually, this is a great time of year to spray broadleaves! They are storing nutrients in thier roots for winter, & that is right where the herbicide goes. Don't expect much visual results this year, but they will be dead! Purdue says weeks leading up to & weeks just after first frost are the absolute BEST time to get broadleaves:clapping: Especially clover, ground ivy & wild violet:weightlifter:

Agree!
The next several weeks is the BEST time to spray during the whole year...so no worries!
