In the spring time in my area I get a pretty good demand for repairing spots in the lawn not needing to be re-sodded but plugged. (Residentials primarily St. Augustine/Centipede) Anyone have info. on who carries those pluggers that you remove the soil core about 3" x 3" square and then pop in a new turf plug. The one that I'm looking for has the thumb mechanism that makes it easy to pop out the soil core, instead of banging it on your boot,ground,helper,etc... to get the now compacted soil core out. I've used one before but all that I can find is the cheapo ones at the retail chains. I've even tried some local specialty lawn and garden shops. Who makes/has these things?
Much obliged Sir!
