Afternoon all. I have finally had enough and gettin the hell out of Michigan. I am gonna hole up in the Tupelo area to start off due to that being where the ole ball and chain is gonna work.
I was wondering what the lawn care economy looks like down there. My future brother in law promises more grass than I can cut, but I dont want to bet on it. He really just wants to take advantage of my hanyman skills with the fixer upper that he bought.
So, in all,

Whats the market look like down there in Tupelo?
Besides word of mouth, whats the next best advertising?

Any info would be appreciated.

P.S. I am a loyal Michigan fan, even though we suck and Rodriguez has no idea how to use existing talent. Would I get lynched if I wore my maize and blue, and also even though Tennessee is not so hot either, am I forced to be a rebels fan? Lol

I am not in the biz but do live in MS so I can give you some feedback, the economy here is in the crapper like most other places but I would not guess quite as bad as Michigan? Although in general this is a poor state but like everything, their are people that get their yards done. And the best form of adverting I have found is word of mouth, do quality work and it will spread, best of luck.

Well if you are going to live in MS Tupelo is a good area to live in. I have heard that it has good clients. The economy may not be the best but at least the cost of living down here isnt that bad.
