Painting pavers?

Has anyone ever painted pavers? Any luck with it sticking?

I was approached about doing an exciting project next season that would involve a patio with yellow and red pavers, but I don't know of any mfg. that make a truly yellow or red paver/brick. I have a brick mfg. looking into it for me now, but I don't think hes going to have much luck.

There is a mosque (Muslim church) that has the parking lot in interlock and they painted lines about 3 years ago and it looks fine after abuse of plowing and all that.

Paver streets and parking lots all have painted marking and
they hold up great.

You can find those pavers, it will just take a little bit of looking.
