Comes with 25 kohler 48"deck . I dont have a clue as to their performance or practability . So if you can ,please let me know . Thanks

definitly a good mower, check into warrenties and such also how good of service they offer there, not sure how good the price is but if the original price is the going price and he dropped it like that then go for it!

the dealer said that he had talked with toro on price reduction to move that series a little more this year. When I first saw that mower last month and he said it was ten grand . I turned around and said we dont need to talk about that one anymore . Nothing more was said untill today when he called to tell me of the price drop . Told him I would look into it .

That machine is Toro's copy of the Walker,My toro dealer price is around 7900 about the same you quoted. Ive can't judge them never seen anyone useing them or don't anyone who ownes one. But he does sell alot of them, also he is a verylarge dealership. Marks Mowing Service

I would be very careful about purchasing that machine. To my knowledge,no one has successfully copied the Walker machines.
Toro has a huge percentage of the market around here, but I have never seen one of those models around here. Everyone uses Walker for that type machine in this area. I know the Scag version a real lemmon. I would talk to several owners of that machine before buying.:)

The 2001 and up machines are the ones to get!! Updated parts. They are a copy and by no means a replacement for the Walkers. But if you cant afford a Walker its a decent choice. See the picture I added to this post the one closest to the Walkers is a Z350 like you were talking about! We are purchasing another out-front mower this spring but we will get another 26EFI Walker. They are much faster then a Walker but the steering is no match for the Walker.

Hey Chester,
I demoed one of these a few years ago and hated it. (And I'm a Toro Man) I even talked to Toro about it and they had the dealer try to set it up differently but to no avail. The dense pak part of it is great though, quality of cut and vacumm performance was not up to par, and like Brian C. said, the steering was so-so. Last year my dealer offered me a good deal on one too. Talked to my service guys in the back of his dealership, they said forget it. The sales guys claim that Toro has improved them but the service manager said they must have over a hundred service bulletins(problems) from Toro on this machine. My wifes son in law just told me about a new one for sale near him that the dealer wants only $6100 for new. Keep thinking about one, just a little worried about repairs and down time though. We stick with the Toro 255 Z's because they are tried and true and because we don't bag any of our properties, there's really no need if you know how to cut without a bagger. (You'd be surprised how many LCO's don't) If you need a collection system cutter, go with the Walker. If it's not your front line machine then take a chance. There was a guy on here about 6 months ago that was trying to get rid of his because he said he couldn't use it if the grass had even dew on it. Said it just sat on his trailer like a paperweight. Do a search on the forum and you'll get a few more answers.

Bought one, used it for two weeks (shear torture), took it back to the dealer.. Now have a ZHP 52" cut and it is a great machine.. If you are still interested in the Z350 be SURE to DEMO one and keep it for a couple of days and different grass conditions it might suit your needs but the 350 did not do what I expected.. Besides the ZHP I have a 52" Hydro Walk Behind, both machines have removable collection systems and are both TORO..

i have a neighbor who is a large lco and uses all toro. he just bought a z350 outfront mower from toro last spring. he loves it he said. The work it does on leaves is incredible and he was able to sell his leaf loader . the cut is good and the stripes are nice. i believe the vacumming is very good and the deck really floats. the machine's steering is able to go fast and slow using the sticks in between the operator none of the Walker hand stick for fast and slow (owners will know what im saying). There is no walker dealer within 50 miles of here and the toro z350 is becoming very popular here. i ve seen quite a few being sold by the local dealer and if he has this price drop u can add one of these to my fleet this spring!

Please explain what the difference between a Walker and any other mower such as this new Toro is please, i mean what makes you say it can't compare, and stuff like it's a different kind of machine etc. I don't know anything about Walkers so what all do they do? thanks
Eric

The toro 350 has been out for a long time(late 80's) but it was called an exmark explorer
